I walked in this morning to a plain paper package sitting on my keyboard with my initials on it.
I unwrapped it, and it was a vintage postcard in a frame.
The postcard is of apple blossom trees with a mountain in the distance, and the caption reads:
Apple Blossom Time, Winchester, VA.

No note, no signature, nothing to indicate who it was from or why. And as far as I know there's nobody at work who knows me well enough to know how much I love apple blossom time - but a couple people know Winchester is my home town.
It put a really big smile on my face today, and I wish I could say thank you. I might have to work the rumour mill a little bit and just let it be known that I really love the gift - and maybe they'll overhear and smile back.
Happy Monday.

That is a sweet way to start your day, especially a Monday.
Wow my picture is crooked - but that's my slippery fingers, not the postcard. I wanna go straighten that so it looks spiffy.
But yeah, it is really cool and I've had a grin on my face all day! OK well the couple hours I've been at work. So awesome!!
What a wonderful gift! Perhaps you can trace the package back to your mailroom to see if someone had couriered it to you. Hopefully you'll be able to find out so you can thank that person.
Did you hang it up in your work space and put a post-it note of thanks on it? LOL, I know I would have.
I wish I could say I sent it but alas, tis not me. But if it was there would probably be a note included saying something to the effect of how much I love (NOT!) this time of year. lol
And of course it's raining here. Typical.
