Internet out. After much craziness with PacBell techs, it has been determined the problem is between the building tap and my apartment.
Which means it's my responsibility.
And they need someone home to get a tech out, regardless of if I hire my own electrician or if I have their techs out.
To speakeasy's credit, they did tell me it would be cheaper to hire my own tech.
Just to add to the madness, my house is in deep chaos right now. I'm having issues with that.
sigh
I would ask for help but who would I ask?
Yeah, it's like that.

Well..... rats!!!!! Keep us posted if you can.
Oh it just gets better. COVAD techs (the vendor for Speakeasy tech services) won't pin down ONE day. I had to give them THREE days when I can be home.
I have a fucking job!!!!!!!!!
I'm gonna call in a favor but as far as I know the first day I or anyone else can be in my apartment is Monday. And they may or may not actually show on Monday. Or Tuesday. Or Wednesday for that matter!!
On the plus side, a few more days of internet give me a chance to clean up and try to get out of the chaos mess.
Just keep swimming .... teehee.
